ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —An employee was tied up and robbed Thursday morning at a local business, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the victim, who was not hurt, was the only person inside the Midwest Copier Exchange on Currency Drive shortly before 9 a.m. when two gunmen went inside and demanded money.

Surveillance cameras were recording inside the business when the robbers tied up the employee, officials said. Deputies home that footage will help them catch the culprits.

Employees at the American Expediting business next door told WESH 2 News they had no idea the crime happened and that they were stunned.

"It's terrifying. I mean we're in here every day. We're also a 24-hour business, so it's scary to think that could happen while we're sitting right here,” American Expediting Rebecca Boggs said.

Boggs also said that she has seen crimes in that area before, including a car break-in, street racing and people digging into the office garbage at night.
