CGI, a Montreal-headquartered technology consulting firm, has entered a long-term agreement to provide managed services for Via Rail Canada’s new online reservations system.

Under the new agreement, CGI will manage the national passenger railway’s critical business applications, building upon an initial contract to create Via’s cloud-based reservation system.

“This new reservation system is an integral part of the customer journey and another important milestone in VIA Rail’s modernization.
