Douglas Stewart EDU to sell 3DS' consumer portfolio of products and curriculum tools to educational institutions through its UK and European reseller base

ROCK HILL, S.C., July 7, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- 3D Systems (NYSE:DDD) announced today it has entered into a distribution agreement with Douglas Stewart EDU, a leading distributor of technology in the global education market. With 65 years of global experience, Douglas Stewart EDU has established a reputation based on superior customer service, long-term relationships and unique channel programs for an education marketplace that extends over 37 countries in Europe and the UK.

Douglas Stewart EDU will immediately offer 3DS' popular line of Cube® and CubePro® 3D printers, SenseTM 3D scanners, TouchTM haptic stylus and education-friendly CAD software, along with integrated curriculum to its resellers in Europe and the UK. The combination of products and programs enables Douglas Stewart EDU to provide a comprehensive educational solution for educators new to 3D technology as well as advanced 3D printing programs from the schools to university level.
