So some clarification first. PaperCut absolutely does support Mac. In fact, it is the only cost recovery/print control solution that I know of that actually installs in an all Mac environment. (Server and Client) It also is the only solution I know of that installs in a Linux environment. So both of your issues are solved with PaperCut. I included the install guides for Mac and Linux to get you started.

Over the years that I've been on this board, I often would sing the RPCS driver's praises as a competitive advantage. I can't do that any more. The only thing I don't like is that Konica limits the number of characters you can use to rename the file at the walk-up panel, but other than that I have no quibbles with their usability any more.

I sell both the KIP and Ricoh Wide Format Products. The KIP 6000 is a really good unit, especially in the hands of a really good sales rep. If I had to sell against it I would focus on. 1) The scanning speed. It can have on of four scanners. Most likely is the 2050 at 2"/sec. The 2080 at 3.2"/sec or the 2120 at 4.8"/sec. The Ricoh is a lot faster than the 2050 scanner. The way to tell which scanner is being used is to find out the model being proposed. The 6052 or 6054 is the 2050 scanner.
