Re: In Search of the Office Imaging Industry’s Top Sales People

Wallingford ·
I just do not understand why this is necessary. Unless of course you and Art are on some sort of a reward, working for or with the US Inland Revenue people ? We all know who we are, that are any good at selling !!! I do not see any real benefit other than those with Narcissistic tendencies.

57 Days of Selling "Day 28"

Since I had a 9:30AM appointment about 20 miles from the house. I opted to make that my first stop instead of driving 45 minutes north to the office and then have to leave 30 minutes later for a 40 minute drive south to the account. The appointment was with another non-profit account that needed to replace an older Canon device (did not know it was a Canon until I arrived). Yesterday, I did my home work for the account and had readied a spreadsheet of four different MFP's. Two of them that...

This was my first visit to the MGM and I thought venue was incredible. I could have done without the forty-five minute wait to check in though. Wednesday Wednesday morning and I'm up at...

I thought all this time that it was the 1224C that got you canned from Aficio League! There was certainly plenty of bad to say and many a bad placement that could have been avoided had Ricoh been forthright in their launch of that unit. As a matter of fact, it was just last week that we happened to be blessed with a visit from the guy who was our DSM for that launch. He is now much higher on the Ricoh food chain. We remenisced about the day he launched the 1224C. He said back then that we...

Art, I am enjoying your year end pursuit and sharing it with some new reps. Of course they know it all “if this guy has been in the business so long, whyyyyy does he have to work so hard and long” I tell them he has made over 4 million in this business over his career, and sure seems to be having fun with these basic but important principles. It seems to put some spring into their step. Keep up the good work. John Saramak LakeView, NY
