Epson inkjet copier technology commentary

- ENX magazine recently published interview with Chip Micelli, president and CEO of Pulse Technology (fka Des Plaines Office Equipment, a large multi-state dealer in the Midwest, headquartered in Schaumberg, Illinois)
- Had recently taken trip to Japan to visit headquarters of Epson and see demo of inkjet MFP technology
- When asked if the technology was a game changer, stated:
o “It probably won’t happen in the next year”
o “The question is, can they (customer) live with the current copy quality of it”
o “if you are using a regular 20-lb. paper, the paper curls because it doesn’t come out dry”
o “some people may not like that”
