What Do You Do To Make Calling Fun?

Always have a plan, I will review my CRM and plan 20-25 stop ins (cold calls) in advance. These are usually accounts where I can't get any traction via phone or email. Group them by their location.

I start with going to the furthest location first and then make my way back the office. Know what types of accounts that you are calling on and have some type of vertical hand out. Make it fun!

The law of commonality will work well, what will everyone have in common that day? The weather is a good place to start, whether it's hot, cold, snow, rain or just one of the most perfect days of the year. Y

ou should mention the weather before you intro, pitch or drop off. "have you been outside yet?", "It's a beautiful day isn't it?", "can you believe how it's coming down outside". Be creative, the past I've handed out a few statement size notes pads with your company logo and contact info (3), with a few candies and a business card that we shrink wrapped.

The note pads are useful, the candies are a treat and you will be remember when you follow up. hashtagneverstopprospecting
