Canon Information and Imaging Solutions, Inc. Expands Collaboration with Box

MELVILLE, N.Y.--()--Canon Information and Imaging Solutions, Inc. (CIIS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., today announced it is now able to offer industry-leading, end-to-end business solutions integrated with Box to enhance Business Process Automation and Records Management.

The relationship between CIIS and Box, previously announced in September 2015 was formed to bring together Canon’s portfolio of document imaging solutions and Box’s rich platform capabilities, to offer integrated solutions for industries including government, non-profit, healthcare, legal and financial services.

Business Process Automation

Clients seeking to automate procure-to-pay, order-to-cash and other document-intensive business processes can not only benefit from the integration of enterprise applications with paper-based information flows, but will also have access to Box’s cloud content management platform. With the combined Canon and Box capabilities, CIIS is able to present its clients with AP automation solutions as well as comprehensive cloud-based content management and document archiving features.

Imaging and Records Management

Records Management is another area where the CIIS and Box collaboration opens new opportunities, especially for healthcare customers. The CIIS Digital Conversion Services for Healthcare can be complemented by Box, leveraging the two companies’ expertise in document imaging and workflow assessment, as well as content management and collaboration to transform patient care coordination. The combined solutions can include CIIS services and Box solutions, designed with the goal of facilitating an aspect of the end users’ compliance efforts in regards to patient information.
