BTA Southeast & IBPI Partner to Host Consecutive Events

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa selected as venue

Kansas City, MO — IBPI (www.ibpi.net) and the Southeast district of the Business Technology Association (BTA;www.bta.org) have partnered to host consecutive events in 2015 at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Orlando, Fla. IBPI’s March 18-20 meeting will combine its Regional Meeting and Annual Meeting of Members. BTA Southeast will host its annual Winter Break event on March 20-21,featuring a variety of educational sessions and networking opportunities. Both events

will feature the products and services of a number of exhibiting sponsors. In addition, there will be attractive pricing and additional benefits for the participating dealers and vendors.

IBPI and BTA Southeast were created by and continue to be governed by

independent office technology dealers. Both organizations are fully dedicated to supporting, strengthening and advancing the dealer channel. By joining forces for these consecutive meetings, the organizations have ensured that in March 2015, the Grand Floridian will be the “must-attend” gathering place for the industry’s leading, progressive dealership principals.

“We are very happy with the decision by IBPI’s leadership team to schedule the organization’s next meeting in conjunction with our 2015 Winter Break event,” said BTA Southeast President John Eckstrom. “For a number of years, Orlando has been the home of the first of our two BTA Southeast district events each year. Having a leading, dealer-centric organization like IBPI join us at the beautiful, relaxing Grand Floridian will take both of our events to new heights.”

IBPI Executive Director Randy Horshok said he is pleased to be returning to the site of the group’s most successful past Regional Meeting. “By combining our event with BTA Southeast’s Winter Break, we are confident that our March 18-20 event will be a great success,” he said. “As discussions got underway to join forces with BTA Southeast, it quickly became clear that it was a perfect match. Not only do we share

many of the same members, but we share the same commitment to ensuring that the independent dealer channel remains the industry’s premier source of office technology and services.”

In the coming months, watch www.ibpi.net and www.bta.org/BTASoutheastEvent for more event details as the organizations’ event agendas are finalized.
