Reply to "BTA East 2012 District Event"

There were 36 vendors at this event. I'll be posting a blog titled" my top 5 solutions/products of the event in the next day or so.

Kyocera: Besides Nori have a heavy japanese accent, he was at times very hard to understand what he was saying, thank goodness for the power point slides. However, it seems that all of the manufacturers are now sharing the same slides!

Business Process Optimization, find the pain, be a consultant to solve workflow and business problems with the use of software, imaging, cloud, etc....Nothing new here

There was a total of five seminars throughout the course of the day and none of them were longer than an hour and then a 45 minute break to meet with vendors, and network with peers.

I would guess that there were at least fourty dealers at the event. I meet at least 10 p4p members and that was a lot of fun since the only contact I had with them was via the forums or email.

At the end of the event there about 30 of the suppliers lined up and gave out their door prizes, now that's pretty cool because if youwon one prize you could not win again, so I would ten to guess that 60% of the group walked away with some type of door prize. I won a top of the line surge protector! Woohooo

I'll give a little more insight on some of the speakers later, but it was an awesome event. Maybe I'll put something like this on one day. I must say that I got more out the of meeting with the sponsors since I am not a dealer owner (at one time I was a dealer owner). I'm sure most of the dealer principals did enjoy the what was presented especially by Mr. Johnson (can't remember his first name). more to come on this
