BTA Southeast will host its annual fall district event, open to dealers from across the country, on Oct. 24-25, 2014, at the Doubletree by Hilton Asheville-Biltmore in Asheville, N.C. This event will be a great setting to gather new ideas and network with your peers.
The agenda features a dealer panel and an educational session by Roy Serhal of N-able by SolarWinds, both of which will focus on managed IT services. Dealers will be able to participate in networking events that will allow them to connect with their peers and exhibiting sponsors, including round-table sessions with sponsors, two dinners, a welcoming reception and a tour of the Biltmore Estate that includes a private Butler's Tour behind the scenes. On Saturday afternoon, there will be time to explore Asheville and the surrounding area.
Dealer attendees will also have the chance to win prizes in exhibitor drawings and enter the BTA District Event Sweepstakes.
Schedule of Events Friday, Oct. 24: The Fall Colors Retreat will begin at 9 a.m. with a trip to the Biltmore Estate. Attendees will have the morning to explore the property and will have lunch on their own. After lunch, the group will meet for a private Butler's Tour of the estate. At 5:30 p.m., attendees will travel to historic Asheville for dinner at Pack's Tavern.
Saturday, Oct. 25: Breakfast with exhibitors will be held from 7:30 until 8:30 a.m., followed by Roy Serhal's educational session, round-table sessions with exhibiting sponsors and the dealer panel. Prize drawings and final announcements will conclude the day's educational agenda. From 12:15 until 6:30 p.m., attendees will have the afternoon free to explore the Asheville area. ****tails will be served at 6:30 p.m. at the hotel, followed by dinner.
Educational Session Making the Shift: How MFP Dealers are Succeeding in Managed Services Roy Serhal, regional sales manager for North America, N-able by SolarWinds
The managed services market is a rapidly growing market that many providers are taking advantage of, but they are not all succeeding. In this session, Serhal will be making the case for why MFP dealers need to consider adding a managed services offering and how to overcome the challenges that every dealer faces. He will be discussing the managed services opportunity for MFP dealers; the challenges dealers face and how to avoid them; and how to successfully add this recurring revenue stream to your portfolio.
Serhal is N-able by SolarWinds' regional sales manager for North America. Committed to supporting the copier vertical, he has built a growing portfolio of resources designed specifically to help dealerships with their managed services endeavors. Serhal brings a unique perspective to the market with more than seven years of experience in managed services at N-able and his previous experience at Xerox, where he took a leadership role focused on its Major Accounts Division. Serhal and his team have on-boarded many MFP dealerships and have aided them in successfully adding managed services to their service offerings.
