This Week in the Copier Industry Ten Years Ago

First Week of October 2012

sponsored by

Since I was prospecting all of last week, I thought I would try something new.  hard to believe I didn't think about this twenty some years ago....

Across my google alerts feed, I picked up a press release from NJ Biz.  The title of the press release was NJ's best Places to Work 2022. Thus I thought I would help those prospects in my territory celebrate their accomplishment.  On Linkedin I posted a thread to congratulate them with with posting their logo, adding NJ's best Places to Work 2022, thread about congratulating that company with "congrats to" then the name of the company tagging them in the thread.

Thus the next step in my madness to see who viewed and linked my thread.  That my friends is a warm introduction and then I'll follow up with a connection request with a note.  We'll see how it works!

I'm looking for help, I need to reach out to KM, Toshiba and HP principals.  I'm willing to offer free Premium/VIP memberships for the team along with some other stuff.  Please contact me for details apost@p4photel.com

Managing Depart IDs (Pin Codes) on a fleet of MFDs \ Copiers October 6, 2012 Canon calls them Department IDs, you may hear them called Pin Codes. But a rose by any other name… Depart IDs have been used to control and track copy usage long before the copier became the MFD, when we connected them to the network. They were the most basic way to track what users copied. Department IDs also evolved so you could also use them to track printing as well. When Color MFDs came into the Office the
