, "it's much easier to get rid of your hardware/MFP provider than it is to get a new IT vendor". I agree with that statement. I just can't see Sharp, Toshiba or Muratec being able to gain marketshare or increase profitablity in the US. As far as Kyocera, a few months ago they made a name change, the see the future, my question is do they have the right dealer channel that can make the move to Managed Services. Really! I believe these 5 have or will have made the transition and not in any order: KonicaMinolta Xerox (Rumors are swirling about Samsung buy-out, I doubt it though) Ricoh Canon (Since this OCE thingy is now completed, I think alot of time will be spent synergize the two different cultures, this may be as hard as or even more difficult than the Ricoh and Ikon cultures) Kyocera (like I stated I'm not sure if they have the channel to pull it off in the US)

Fire completely engulfed the offices of the Flood Church in Kearny Mesa early Tuesday morning. The two-alarm fire was reported by police around 3:49 a.m. in the 3800 block of Ruffin Rd. Crews had the fire knocked down by 4:14 a.m., according to San Diego Fire's spokesperson Maurice Luque. It's limitation is that if you can see the printer (IE. you can get on their wireless network) you can print to the printer that you set up. I agree....that cost saving feature is very cool and rewarding to know how much you are saving. That is a big file size difference 1MB vs 5.5MB. How did you scan the document to attach?

Air Print was made by HP in conjunction with Apple as a way of printing from an iOS device (iPad & iPhone NOT Macbooks)over wireless as there are no drivers present. But I wouldnt be surprised if you can share a driver from a windows PC/MacOS device Check out these guys, they make a very cool print server type device for iOS http://www.lantronix.com/

I heard from what I consider a reliable source that Nuance \ eCopy is changing their distribution model, from a direct relationship with the Dealers to a distribution channel (more like the way HP does it). I've seen different information on Airprint on the web and I was wondering if anyone has set this up. I have conflicting information. My general understanding is that it is a protocol like Bonjour that wireless devices such as Ipads and Iphones can print over. However, I've also read something to the effect that you can set up a Mac or Windows machine as a print server using an airprint application and print to any windows printer (of course you would need postscript for the apple products
