accounts. The image quality is OK at best. I did not have the chance to export as a jpeg to see that quality. Keep in mind it's more for documents, sketches and stuff like that. Once I opened the doc, of course it was readable, but the quality kinda reminded me of a poor quality fax (but, I then realized that the document I captured was printed via inkjet printer and it was taken from an image from the web, thus 72dpi). I printed the document to my printer and it printed exactly what I scanned. I'm

Would like to hear from others as to what will happen with Kodak. I read an article the other day that stated George (think it was George) Eastman actually committed suicide. Today it might be diagnosed as lumbar spinal stenosis, a narrowing of the spinal canal caused by calcification in the vertebrae. Eastman grew depressed

Do you have any proof that this is something that is going to take place??? As a Lanier guy I don't necessarily think it would be a bad thing by the way.

I have sold a few of these units. Whats hard to beat is the color cpc and standard features. Image quality is good, however you may have to change a few settings in the print driver to beat the quality of the Ricoh color products. Reliabilty should be good, however this is a new series so were still waiting.

If you're just a copier guy who is trying to fake it until you make it like me, you might find this helpful. I used these settings to set up LDAP

Will any of these Ricoh MSRP/LDP price hikes result in higher end-user pricing? Will the price increases for end users be the same as the price increases to dealers?

Re: Got A Situation! What would ou do?

·
You should be able to go to a broker and get another 50ppm Toshiba for dirt cheep. I'd swap the machine out or fix the existing one. No way would I roll the lease on the customer. Just be honest with the customer and do the right thing by them. One call to a competitor for a quote and you are toast. Make it a positive in the customer's mind. The customer will respect you more in the long run if youdo the right thing. Roll the lease and risk losing the customer forever.

Re: Got A Situation! What would ou do?

First what was the terms of the first lease? What was the payment? How many months left? When you leased the used Toshiba did you check new or used on the lease? Fisher is right take care of the customer and they will take care of you. Yo need to build that trust and respect back up because right now the customer thinks he got a lemon and you do not care. If he believes that you need to act fast otherwise he will shop you and that will be the end of that customer. Honesty is always the best

Re: Got A Situation! What would ou do?

·
What are your options that you have to chose from? What brands are you authorized to service? Are you an independent dealer? How would you get a Sharp if you are not a dealer? Can you service Sharp MX series? At 8K per month they really don't need a 45ppm unit. That would be 25-35ppm range.

I am a small independent been in business over 12 years. Main line is Toshiba with a secondary being Samsung. Both of ehich are not a option for this customer I can get Pretty much anything through association but I don't won't to do wrong to the customer I am looking for a good machine that will work well for them I am a service tech so usually working on different products is not a issue
