This Week in the Copier Industry Five Years Ago

Last Week of March 2017

Good things happen to those that wait?  How are about good things happen to those that get older and wiser, or good things happen to those that get older, wiser and can still take direct.    It was pretty cool because I implemented a plan for going deeper and wider, that deeper and wider found me a $600K content opportunity. We're only two week into the process, will keep everyone updated on this one.

Toshiba Telecom Dealers 'Blindsided' by Shutdown

Dealers across the United States, Canada and Latin America were caught off guard by Toshiba ’s plans to shut down its business phone division. Ricoh Closing MFP Recycled Machine Business

Ricoh, based alongside the M54, is talking with employees who could be affected by the reorganisation. The changes follow the closure of its MFP Recycled Machines business and reduced interest in its toner bottling business. Art, great piece here. We use National Azon for some hardware but a lot for their specialty wide format stocks. We get one in particular that is an adhesive matte type product that the customer is able to print high quality images on and use for door entryways, deli cases and windows. It allows them to print and when the time comes to clean and/or remove, it can be done without the assistance of a straight razor. We also consult with them from time to time for special projects out production

Net new business over email is kinda hard. One sales guy (copier) that I know is now using more join.me for appointments since many of his accounts are like yours, two and three hours away. He states he has had many good meetings via join.me. I plan on doing more of these also to save me some time and travel.

Hi Art The Pagewide service model is the one we use for our Canon ImagePROGRAF plotters. Based upon customer's needs, we quote an annual contract for service. This contract, like the original 1- year warranty from Canon, excludes user- replaceable items (ink, paper, printhead(s), and maintanence cartridge). If the system includes a scanner, we account for that in the quoted price. So essentially, we will repair / replace any item not user-replaceable. Canon offers the same "service" contract in
