The Week in Copiers Ten Years Ago

The Last Week of March 2011

There are times when I read some of these threads from 5, 10 and 15 years ago. Often these threads will jog my memory of days gone by and in other ways these threads will bring back memories of things that I did to remain successful in this industry for forty-one years.  We all seem to get so caught up in our day to day activities that we sometimes forget the basics that got us to where we are today.

Enjoy These Awesome Copier Threads from Ten Year Ago This Week

From this standpoint, in 1935 the name Canon was registered as the official trademark. The word Canon has a number of meanings, including scriptures, criterion and standard. The trademark was

Re: Sales Manager Advice

·
I don't think you could have a selling sales manager who also (actually) manages 6 people. Selling sales mangers are great in areas that need someone in charge but the number of reps do not justify a manager (usually 2-3 reps). If you want someone to hire, train and actually manage people, don't give them a quota for individual sales. If you want someone to answer a few questions and turn in the month end paperwork without really "managing" anything, go with a selling sales manager.
