My Top 5 "Likes" & "Dislikes" With Linkedin Users

A few weeks ago, I was digging deep into LinkedIn just to see what's new.  Didn't find much, however I did notice that I've been a LinkedIn user since 2005.  Over the years, I've seen the good the bad and the ugly on LinkedIn.  There's a lot more good than the bad and ugly!

Here's my top 5 "dislikes" from users

1. Can't stand when users post puzzles or word games

2. Users that post a graphic with a quote and nothing else, let's communicate people!

3. Users that just re-post or re-share a thread and have nothing to say

4. Pictures of beautiful places in the world, basically because I'm not there enjoying the same view

5. Holiday Greetings for all of their clients, hey spend a few bucks and send a card, we are in the imaging business right?

Here's my top 5 "likes" from users

1. LinkedIn Pulse, I admire all of those that take the time, and thought to post an article/blog.  Most of the information shared is priceless

2. Always enjoy seeing updates from connections for what's new and different

3. Users that take the time to read what was posted and then post a comment along with the share

4. Pictures of beautiful places in the world, because I want to be there someday

5. Users who post relevant & thought provoking threads on a consistent basis

For me, LinkedIn is a daily ritual much like the Print4Pay Hotel.  With more than 2,000 connections it can take 20 minutes or so to view my wall on a daily basis.

I don't use LinkedIn that much to get appointments,  more often LinkedIn is the research tool for me.  I will research the company, the client, and see who they are connected to. In many cases there's someone on the list that we both know or do business with.  In some cases, I've seen some of my competitors that the client is connected with.  This gives me excellent in-sight as to who the competition might be in the future.
