. NSI originally developed AutoStore for HP, but the exclusivity of this arrangement expired last year. NSI has since added a partnership with Kyocera Mita, which will soon offer its own version of AutoStore, and created integrations for Xerox, Ricoh, Sharp and Toshiba copiers among others in the works. This gives AutoStore the unique distinction of being the only scanning system that can expose one set of stored document settings and workflows through at least six different brands of devices

yourself and your company. I know this is common sense and practice, but the discipline of selling is the hardest part. Who wants to win on price? That will only leave you broke and busy helping people who don't appreciate your professionalism or your time. Good luck, and I hope someone else will contribute on the benefits of the Ricoh machines, I've found the Konica-Minolta machines look good on paper, but put them side by side and you'll see the difference. Push for a demo if you can!

Re: LET'S Talk about the new HP "Market Buster" MFP!

·
This is an email from one of my sources. Just talked to my "mole" within one of the larger regional HP providers. Here's the real scoop on the 4345 mfp: FCOT = 4 seconds Cost per page = $.014 from HP for service, supplies and 4 hour response. The engine is the HP LJ 4300 reworked to print right to left instead of back to front. CPC is high for a copier but the hardware price is half the cost of a copier mfp.

Re: LET'S Talk about the new HP "Market Buster" MFP!

For the customer who does not need 11x17, book copy and prints alot more than they copy. The HP 4345 will foot the bill. I have even thought about buying a few of these systems and reselling them with our own label for a few thousand above retail. I don't know if I;ll ever do it, however its just a thought. I did a few comparisions with a Ricoh 600N, extra paper draw, duplex unit and then added the new IS 300e scanner from Ricoh. We still cam out a few thousand over. However it may be a

It's true. We read "How to Win Friends and Influence People" at our company and the principles are common sense, yet often take repetition and constant reflection to implement them in the day to day grind. Relationship selling may or may not be a new "buzzword", but it's definitely not new. The best salespeople have been doing this for years. We can't rely on always having the best price and the best product... As I believe Brian Tracy says..."all things being equal most people would rather buy

The CSR (Customer Support Representative) would also have the ability to "sell the extras" once in the door. The would have a "click quota

QUESTION: What Do Customers Really Want?

QUESTION: What Do Customers Really Want? ANSWER: For years businesses have struggled to answer that question. Along the way slogans and discussions have come and gone--about customer satisfaction versus loyalty, selling outcomes and solutions versus products and services, and technical processes versus interpersonal skills. Too often, they missed the point. Research shows that independent of industry, geography, product, or service, consumers consistently report that they value four qualities

As long as you have a FULL version (NOT lite) of AutoCAD on the plotbase server, you can batch print DWG files. No AutoCad on the PB server, you are linmited to PLT, TIFF, PDF (if postscript option enabled)

Re: Software tips for Aficio 240W

·
, AutoCad will perform it's "regeneration" and then send the images to Plotclient Win. You will actually see the Plotclient Win application launch without human intervention and the AutoCad files will drop into the area for Entries. Within Plotclient, you will then need to set the number of collated sets that you desire and then press the printer icon. The job is actually sent from Plotclient Win to the SSL folder and then printer from PB Server.

If the customer is running 36 inch paper, then every linear foot is 3 sqaure feet. There is no square foot meter for the Ricoh's. The KIP product that I saw has a square foot meter. Service is also billed by the square foot.

Re: 270 and SRlite?

The 270 with print and scan needed two drops. So the addy of the SR was installed in the 270 and the delivery option was turned to "delivery" Then the address book in the SR was set up with the destinations of the other work stations. The work stations got SW called Desktop binder and a portion of it monitors SR for scans. Almost the same setup as the present system.

The machine will code every time the print button is pushed. It will not make a copy. Clear the code, shut it down, and it codes agian as soon as the print key is pressed. quote: Originally posted by Jomama: How often does this occur. The 1515 has a USB port, this is must be shared on the network through another computer. I would suggest something that has a network card and can be seen directly on the network. If you can print over the WAN, you can scan over the WAN. And I would agree with Jomama, Their software must be able to monitor a folder locally, if not, upgrade software.
