Non competes; I've never seen 1 apply to when your let go; or is it new norm?

Hypothetically, if a company would let lots of people go, and then make the remainders sign new non compete, that limits them for 104 weeks from seeking any employment in the industry, whether they quit or get fired.......and, hypothetically, only gives them 5 days to sign or be fired.....is this the new norm in the industry.....Read More...
