Actually, I upgraded and account who had a complaint that it took too log to get these bottle, so I figured I would include 3 of then in the new deal. I had my own copier business for 12 years and have been in the business for 27 years and was floored that my company is telling me I have to pay $187 per waste toner bottle for the W2400. Angry
Coming from the "overcoming customer objections" angle, that makes sense. All the same, it's a rare user that would change the bottle themselselves. It requires removing several screws, and two covers that are normally only removed for service. (these covers are a little tricky to replace too).
The part number is "B125 3661 Collection Bottle - Used Toner". It is an assembly that has the sensor already attached. At the risk of sounding like a broken record: this is not an item that the customer should have to replace (unless they self-maintain), as it lasts well past the PM cycle. I have never ordered one so I don't know the cost, and I don't have a price list available. Can someone look this up for Art?
Thanx for the update, and yes the waster toner bottles would be at the customers office and then a tech would replace when needed, thus eliminating the time for one to ship to the customer or a tech to order and then bring to the customer.

Work from ny tech department today was, we don't sell them, we just have a tech go down and clean them out. Kinda odd since we are in the business of buying and selling and making a profit. Confused
