HOUSTON--()--Skybox Datacenters (skyboxdatacenters.com) announced today that Triton Data Services (tritondataservices.com), a full-service data management firm, has leased space in its Skybox Houston One campus. Triton is a top cloud and managed services provider to a diverse mix of oil and gas clients.

“Triton and its data center at Skybox Houston creates one of the first hybrid cloud and colocation options for oil and gas companies in Houston,” said Rob Morris, managing partner of Skybox Datacenters. “Our data center in the Energy Corridor is the natural location for oil & gas hybrid computing and makes Skybox Houston an obvious match for Triton and its customers.”

Triton is expected to be online at Skybox Houston this December. Skybox is able to offer Triton a custom and transparent suite of data center services designed to meet the complex demands of its IT environment. The overall offering allows Triton to better manage, maintain, and monitor its environment in real-time with complete transparency.

“At Triton Data Services, we have always viewed great technology as a driving factor in our ability to create smarter, more effective solutions for our enterprise clients,” said Andrew Timm, chief technology officer of Triton Data Services. “From our first meetings with the Skybox team, it was clear that they shared our vision for the ability of industry-leading data center services to enable next-generation technology platforms like ours. Skybox Houston provides Triton with a best-in-class facility and a suite of data center services unmatched in Houston today.”

Skybox Houston’s 20-acre campus and LEED Silver data center supports Fortune 500, Fortune 1000, and other small to medium enterprises. The current facility provides four private data centers and up to 54 MW of power. It is designed to cater to enterprise users in the region who require 100 percent uptime, high-performance and ultra-low latency computing needs. Skybox Houston is a Miami-Dade rated design, built with a six-inch thick concrete roof deck that can sustain hurricane-force winds up to 190+ MPH.
