Irvine, Calif.-based Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) announced today a newly formed strategic alliance with Ringdale Inc., offering the all-in-one secure document output management solution, FollowMe, to Toshiba’s e-STUDIO family of products. This partnership provides Toshiba’s dealers and customers with one of the most advanced and easy-to-use secure document output management solutions on the market today.

FollowMe is a standards-based roaming, secure printing and accounting solution that provides organizations a complete output security and accountability suite within a single business tool. FollowMe gives companies the ability to restrict assess to documents by requiring users to authenticate themselves prior to retrieving their print jobs, keeping sensitive documents out of public view or from being mistakenly taken by non-authorized persons. Users can release sensitive print jobs directly at the output device through the largest range of identification technologies, including biometric fingerprint, proximity card, magnetic swipe card, smart card, PIN codes and barcodes. Additionally, the FollowMe solution allows organizations to allocate or recover costs through its robust accounting and auditing toolset.
