By installing the XSS Discovery Agent software on a customers network, resellers can monitor using XSS Command Centre the levels of ink and toner cartridges on the entire estate of printers and MFPs.
The service is cloud-based, so resellers can monitor their customers print estate from anywhere and in addition to Xerox devices, XSS can be used to monitor products from a number of other leading printer brands. This means resellers can offer to cover everything for the customer.
Xerox Supplies Services provides resellers with an easy, cost-effective way to enter managed print services, drive up consumables business and increase customer loyalty, says Peter Lunn, Senior Category Manager for Print at Tech Data UK. With XSS, when pre-set thresholds are reached, the reseller will be notified to take an action to replenish the required consumables. Through the XSS portal, resellers have direct access into the Tech Datas stock system, enabling them to supply replacements immediately against a pre-existing agreement or a new customer order that can then be shipped directly to specified locations. XSS can be used to trigger servicing alerts too, so it can be used it as an integral part of a resellers maintenance services offerings as well.
Resellers can choose replacement cartridges from the Xerox Replacement Cartridge (XRC) range, which are available for a wide range of printer brands. Tech Data stocks the XRC range plus ink and toner cartridges and other consumables products from a number of leading manufacturers.
