Logo-Sharp-1024x538Sydney, Australia - 22 May 2018 - Sharp Corporation of Australia today announces that Daniel Gard has been appointed to National Sales and Marketing Manager – B2B, effective 16 May 2018, replacing Greg Wallis who retired in April 2018. In this position, Gard will report directly to Hitoshi Kagawa, Managing Director of Sharp Corporation of Australia and will be responsible for directing the strategic growth and profitability of Sharp's Business Solutions Group (B2B) Office and Visual Solutions.

Daniel Gard joined Sharp in 2016 as B2B Business Manager, Business Solutions Group and in a short time was promoted to the role of Head of Marketing and Product Strategy B2B. Gard is a veteran in the industry with over 30+ years of experience. He has held a variety of leadership roles, driving the sales and marketing teams across the IT industry such as NEC, Sony, HP, Konica Minolta, Lexmark, Ricoh and Fuji Xerox. His vast wealth of knowledge and expertise will be invaluable as he leads the Sharp Business Solutions Group (Office and Visual Solutions) to new levels of growth and profitability.
