I am competing against a Riso RP3500. I don't handle Ricoh duplicators very much but this sale would give us an opening into a very large account and I want to handle this personally. What is the best Ricoh product to compete vs the riso model? They do around 20k per month and the bulk of the work is NCR forms. Any help is much appreciated, this is definitely the part of the product line I know the least about.
Thanks as always for the input.

I know it's a little late, but I've been pretty busy lately. The RP3500 is a 400DPI unit with an embedded GDI controller and Network card. Best unit to go up against this is the Gestetner 5455 (whatever the Ricoh equiv is). This unit is one of the best at feeding NCR stock reliably and with the smallest registration shift. The controller issue is a little more complex. If a parallel connection is all that is neede, lead with the UC5e. If low end network solution is neede, go with the UC5 and attach a third party Axis Print Server to it. The best controller we have now is the embedded Type 80, PS3 network controller. Best one I've ever seen. Hope this helps.
Cheers, Jim Stocker.
