I know there are terms for the age of the devices. Such as discontinued, obsolete and others. Can someone list those along with the age of the device. I'm trying to figure out at what age a ricoh device is obsolete and at what age parts are limited and then not available at all

With Ricoh products, It has traditionally been that parts availability is assured for 7 years after the last manufacturing date (the month, not the day).
However, because most machines are generational, that rule doesn't hold fast. The 3rd generation of a Savin MPxxxx will use many of the same component parts as previous gen models. S, you may be able to still get common parts for more than 7 years after final production.
It's safe to assume that after 7 years from the last production month, parts availability is no longer gauranteed.
