Ricoh Serverless Apps

Hey Gang,

I am doing some research on the on-MFP serverless apps on the market and wanted to ask for insights into Ricoh's portfolio and strategy in this space.

Right now all I see from Ricoh in terms of serverless apps is:

1) GlobalScan NX Serverless

(plus GS NX Serverless connectors for Doc Mall and DSM)

2) DSM App

3) Enhanced Locked Print NX

Meanwhile, it looks like Ricoh will look to ICE as an alternative to on-MFP apps, contradicting what I am seeing from other vendors.

Any thoughts or anything to add?

What is DSM?

I use dropbox for all of my customers to scan2cloud if they need it, sets up find on the Ricoh. Hope you're going to include the UDOCX stuff too. I consider the programs you named more than apps.

Agreed on these more than "apps" when you compare to bizhub MarketPlace or ConnectKey. Its basically the list of Ricoh's serverless solutions.

Not sure UDOX fits the on-MFP part of the definition, but I'll look into it.

Also, DSM is Distributed Scan Management. Its a Microsoft network scanning platform, that I believe Ricoh is the only vendor to support.

DSM is available either as an MFP app or as a connector for GlobalScan.
