Can someone tell me if it's possible and if so how to convert some of the pages in a Publisher document to monochrome so a user can print the cover in color and the rest in black & white in one step without having to run the color as a cover?

Let me know if you get this to work. We have issues getting Ricoh devices to properly count B&W / Color mixed documents. Thanks-
This seems to have something to do with Publisher. Even when converted to Single Color and selected as black it clicks color. Bill, I don't think it's Ricoh exclusive...at least I hope not. The printer is just doing what the program tells it to do. Normally, I can work around this by printing the job to the Document Server and combining the job at the MFP. In this case, the customer wants to do a mail merge
MS Publisher - Format - Color - Black. If it's not set and SAVED as "Black" it will send Color info and be clicked as a Color page.

Thanks Vince. I'm using Publisher 2007 and I'm not sure where the Format Publication that you show in your picture is. I believe it is under Change Template, but I wasn't successful in just changing the color scheme. It changed the format and there were still color pictures within the document. Is there a way to change the color scheme without changing the template?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but this would be very helpful if I could learn how to do this.
Thanks!
Man, I must be having a senior moment. Publisher has a setting for this in the print dialog.

Ahh, now I remember why I didn't do that in the first place. I want to just change some pages so that I can use the finishing features with the document and not have to print it as separate documents. As it is I had to create 1 color document and 1 black & white and send it to the Document Server then go to the printing screen and set the finishing options. This makes the mail merge impossible...maybe that's not a bad thing...?
