San Francisco, CA (PRWEB)

Sepialine announced today that the latest version of Printerpoint, their large format device monitoring software, adds support for KIP’s "System K enabled" printer series, Océ’s Colorwave series, as well as the entire Ricoh large format product line.

Printerpoint is a cloud-based device monitoring solution that helps equipment providers monitor and track the printers they place at remote customer locations. By providing real time meter reads, supply levels and status messages, equipment providers can remotely bill customers for usage, ship supplies and schedule service calls without requiring end-user interaction.

“Now that we can track KIP System K equipment, our entire fleet can be managed remotely” says Paul Quiroga, Director of Sales at DES Reprographics, a California-based solutions provider that uses Printerpoint to streamline their business. Read more about how DES uses Printerpoint.

Meter Reads, Supplies, Alerts

Large format equipment providers who do not use Printerpoint typically rely on customers to provide end-of-month meter reads, which can result in billing delays if customers are not quick to respond.

Printerpoint helps providers increase their attachment rate with notifications about when customers are low on ink/toner and paper. This enables lucrative MPS-style contracts where all supplies and service are wrapped into a monthly cost, and offers upsell opportunities when customers buy supplies outside of their device contract.

Printerpoint’s alert system notifies your service team when a device needs maintenance or has a problem. Reduce “need it now” service calls by knowing about maintenance issues before your customer calls to report a problem!

The Largest Large Format Support in the Industry

Printerpoint supports a huge range of large format devices, including: HP PageWide XL, HP DesignJet, Canon imagePROGRAF, Océ Colorwave, Océ Plotwave, Océ TDS, KIP System K, KIP IPS, and Ricoh - with more coming soon.

Printerpoint is only $5 per device, per month, with no contracts or monthly minimums. Sign up today at Sepialine.com/Printerpoint for a two-week trial.

At 5 bucks a month and no minimums that seems to be a good offer if you only want to monitor a few wide formats, right?  But if you have a fleet of 500?  That's $2,500 per month. I understand that not every client  will want the monitoring.

I'm out in the street every day, and probably the biggest complaint I get from clients is that they can't have more than one toner of each color on hand, I hear this from net new prospects also.

This is a good fit for wide format market place, and I can see the need when clients are running heavy volume.
