Print Audit Announces the Top 100 List of Companies

June 2, 2014

Calgary, Alberta - June 2, 2014 - Print Audit® announced today the creation of a Top 100 list of companies, which they believe will be responsible for transforming the imaging industry. Currently, the industry is undergoing an unprecedented level of change. Some examples are:

  • In March, 2014, International Paper closed its largest mill located in Courtand, Alabama, reducing their paper making capacity by about one third, or 950,000 tons per year.
  • Gartner predicts that in 2015 more tablets will be sold than PCs worldwide and in 2017 1.75 tablets will be sold for every PC.
  • According to Photizo Group, half of the decision makers are Millennials. As more of this generation takes over as managers, we will likely see a decrease in printed pages.

“This amounts to a perfect storm across multiple industries. We believe that there is a core of companies out there that will do more than survive these profound challenges,” stated West McDonald, VP of Business Development for Print Audit. “We’ve put together a list of the Top 100 companies most likely to succeed. We think they have what it takes to lead the next big shift.”

There were 5 key indicators Print Audit used to identify the Top 100. Are you 1 of the Top 100? Visit www.printaudit.com/top100 to find out.

“Based on the 5 indicators, you’ll know whether you’re on our Top 100 list or not,“ said Rob Thiessen, VP of Sales for Print Audit. “Print Audit is currently reaching out to these companies to establish a community capable of transforming the imaging industry.”

As part of this initiative Print Audit is planning a Summit in which members of the Top 100 list will be invited to come together to brainstorm and develop strategies and new business practices that overcome the challenges, such as declining volumes, digitized workflows, new business technologies, etc. Summit details will be announced privately to potential attendees only.

“Print Audit is committed to helping companies grow their businesses. Print Audit looks forward to joining forces with the Top 100 to design the business model of the future,” said John MacInnes, President & CEO of Print Audit. “It’s time for action.”
