We recently implemented Print Audit for meter collection and toner fulfillment. We are experiencing a problem with Ricoh monochrome MFPs not giving enough notice from toner low to toner end. To reproduce the problem we set up an MP301 and took the toner out and proceeded to make copies. From "toner low" to "toner depleted" it took only 50 pages. With a 8000 page yield, this is less than 1%. Has anyone else experienced this and how are you handling it? We thought by implementing Print Audit we would have just in time toner replenishment and reduce costs and waste with sending backup toners with every MFD but this really throws a wrench in our plans.
Thanks for any feedback!
