I have set up Omnipage Batch Manager from PPDM to monitor a folder for incoming faxes.  These are multi-page PDF files.  The process monitors the folder, picks up the multi-page pdfs and converts them to single page pdfs and transfers them to another folder.  This works well.  However, I have had several instances where the process only transfers the first page of each and gives an Invalid Index for the remaining.  Does anyone know why this might be happening and how to correct it?  If I transfer the input files to another folder and restart the process and dump the files back in it works fine...I just can't do this multiple times every day.  I appreciate any feedback.

Ricoh and Nuance have been no help in supporting the batch process I have implemented.  This resulted in the process failing every day and having to be managed remotely by me with calls at 6:30 in the morning.  I spent hours on the phone with the Ricoh hotline and Nuance (support via India).  They transferred me around like a hot potato until someone gave me the number 470-241-1827 which is The Daily Jackpot and tells me I can win cash or an iPad...you've got to be kidding me.

On Monday's this office receives 500+ pages of faxes so as you can imagine this has been quite an issue.  It's frustrating.  Yesterday I bought $27 software (about 10% of the cost of PPDM) that seems to be working fine http://www.a-pdf.com/to-image/ .  I think OmniPage was too complicated for the simple task.  It seemed to want to OCR the documents instead of just splitting them.  There didn't appear to be any way to circumvent that process.
