UK-based dealer Pinnacle Document Solutions has acquired Copier Mate.
The buyout of the large Welsh independent Toshiba dealer is the third acquisition by Pinnacle in less than two years.
The deal is part of its strategy to strengthen its managed print services (MPS) position in South Wales and South West England. Copier Mate will continue to trade under its existing brand.
Pinnacle CEO Clive Hamilton commented: “We have ambitious growth plans and this acquisition will allow us to offer our workflow and managed documents services offering to an even larger customer base.”
Details of the transaction were not disclosed, but it is understood to be supported with institutional backing from Finance Wales, the Welsh SME investment group.
