MFP COPIER – SALES SPECIALIST JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client provides unique knowledge of mail, facsimile, copier, software, financing and messaging, makes us singularly well positioned to provide integrated solutions to companies to meet their increasingly complex messaging needs.

Ensuring our client’s representation into the market meets corporate expectations performing within operating principles and leadership guidelines, the Sales Specialist (Manager) leads a group of individuals responsible for achieving sales targets for MFP Copier Business Segment.

Key responsibilities include:
• Attaining revenue objectives
• Growing and developing Sales Rep MFP skills
• Creating customer opportunities
• Enhancing our client’s customers experiences
• Participate with Commercial Director in designing an effective coverage model leveraging on market/account verticals and mapped against manpower skill sets.
• Ensure quota design meets corporate requirements, for MFP business.

Participate in field activity with the intent to:
• Develop sales skills
• Increase win/loss ratio
• Increase customer satisfaction and retention
• Build upon our client’s market presence
• Conducting regular monthly and weekly meetings as per our client’s management processes.
• Communicate as an agent of change focused on delivering positive, forward messages linked to corporate vision.
• Ensure timely/accurate recording, tracking and reporting of sales activities and results through daily usage of sales tools. Adhere to standardized processes for forecasting of monthly results
• Identify and remove team-selling impediments – design and maintain incentives that motivate the sales team
• Work closely with district sales, service and support resources to communicate customer expectations, sales progress and solution requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• A minimum of three to six years multifunction copier sales and sales management experience in Puerto Rico with a leading brand with proven success.
• Demonstrated ability to set clear expectations and communicate them effectively.
• Proven track record of success in a sales environment, strong planning and impeccable communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, counsel, and motivate employees within a team environment
• Document Management industry experience is essential.
• University education.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and own vehicle.
• Ability to work in a small team to reach the required sales budgets, where the sales representatives do not report directly to the position.
• Ability to work with and support other territory representatives in the enhancement of revenues and expanding market share.
• Ability to evaluate accounts and assess potential opportunities.
• Ability to form and build relationships with customers’ senior management.
• Demonstrate problem solving skills.
• Strong organization skills with ability to prioritize.
• Adhering to business practice guidelines.
• Ensuring a superior level of customers’ retention and market expansion.
• Applying a superior level of activity management and professional selling skills to the identification and placement of appropriate product solutions.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Setting objectives and developing strategic solutions in conjunction with the Commercial Director.
