Fairfield, New Jersey – March 6, 2007 - Kyocera Mita America, one of the world's leading document solutions companies, today introduced the FS-C8100DN network color printer designed for business environments interested in transitioning to a fast, high-quality color printing device a with low cost-per-page (cpp), and outstanding reliability.
The Kyocera FS-C8100DN Color Printer offers companies the speed, reliability, quality and consistency once reserved for ultra high-end commercial printers, enabling business workgroups to make the transition from black and white to color at an affordable price. In both color and black and white, the FS-C8100DN outputs documents at an impressive 32 pages-per-minute (ppm) at a vibrant 600x600 dpi resolution.

The FS-C8100DN’s utilizes Kyocera’s ECOSYS® Technology, featuring long-life consumables, which prevents imaging components, like the durable 300,000 page-rated amorphous silicon drums, from requiring replacement every time the toner runs out – therefore further simplifying routine maintenance.

The FS-C8100DN boasts standard duplex, network connectivity and a standard paper capacity of 1,100-sheets. Businesses looking for versatile paper handling can add optional paper sources and maximize the paper capacity to 4,100 sheets. The FS-C8100DN can print on a variety of media types including recycled paper, transparencies, cardstock, labels, and envelopes. The FS-C8100DN offers a standard 256 MB of print memory (upgradeable to 1GB via 100 Pin DDR DIMMs), able to meet the needs of any growing business. An optional 40GB Hard Disk Drive enables document printing and e-MPS functions, including private print, secure job storage, and the ability to provide users with virtual mailboxes to assist offices maximize product performance and functionality.
