Osaka, Japan - November 5, 2015 - KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc.(President: Takashi Kuki; herein "KYOCERA")today announced the acquisition of all shares of four companies held by Ceyoniq Holding GmbH(Chairman of the Management Board: Andre Ferlings; herein "Ceyoniq Group"), a German Enterprise Content Management(ECM*) solutions provider, making the Ceyoniq Group a wholly owned subsidiary of KYOCERA as of November 3(Germany local time).

 

Since the two companies reached an acquisition agreement on September 16(Germany local time), KYOCERA has been taking the necessary steps to make the Ceyoniq Group a wholly owned subsidiary, while obtaining approvals from relevant authorities. 

 

By utilizing the Ceyoniq Group's expertise, KYOCERA will further provide added value to its customers as a partner that contributes to the expansion of their business.

 * ECM: The collective term for software which enhances the efficiency of data handled in enterprises including paper documents.
