GEM Promo Pricing

Ted...I have GSA/GEM PROMO dated December 2002. However it would be really nice if Ricoh had their @#!+ together and updated it at the beginning of each quarter like they used to. If you can use the above pricing send me an e-mail and I will send it to you.

Or anyone else for that matter. Have we seen GEM Promo pricing for the new 2090/2105, and 1224/1232C? I have a big school deal I'm working on again and need it. I got regular RMAP pricing as of 3/25/03 but no GEM promo.

I have e-mailed Barbara Lindley asking for Ricoh GEM/GSA Promo pricing; without a reply. I checked yesterday on ROL and it is not listed. I don't know about you guys but if we treated our customers and ran our business they way Ricoh does it wouldn't be neccessary to be a member of this site any longer;-/ It was kind of interesting to have watched Xerox decimate their customer/dealer base and now Ricoh seems to be heading down the same path.

I e-mailed and the response was "there is no GEM Promo since Oct.". I was told I would have to use the GEM/GSA Pricing in my most recent RMAP pricing for GEM/GSA customers.

That does not sound right, I have put through a few city, state deals at the published GEM Promo for a few 1022's and 1055's.

I know there are a few of you who can give insight, what gives?

I heard that the program was finished from my csdsm a while ago.

Well, they are still accepting orders using GEM Promo for qualified accounts. I just sent one in last week, and it went through. What I heard was that the Gov. people through a fit because Ricoh was allowing special pricing reserved for them to be used by "normal" customers. In order to meet the Gov's requirements, Ricoh can not offer the special Gov pricing to "normal" customers. Makes sense to me.

I spoke to Barbara Lindley this morning. She said there is no conclusive date when the GEM PROMO pricing will be out for the new systems. She suggested we sell them 1085/1105's which are still on the old schedule, which is still in effect for true GEM/GSA customers.
I told her my customer knows the 1085/1105 are being replaced, and wants the new system. She said I have to stay with standard GEM/GSA pricing.

The 2090/2105's are on the RMAP price list dated 3-25-03
