Fire completely engulfed the offices of the Flood Church in Kearny Mesa early Tuesday morning.

The two-alarm fire was reported by police around 3:49 a.m. in the 3800 block of Ruffin Rd. Crews had the fire knocked down by 4:14 a.m., according to San Diego Fire's spokesperson Maurice Luque.

The building is home to the church's administrative offices, Sunday services are held at Kearny Mesa High School.

A faulty electrical plug or a copier plugged into the outlet caused the fire, Luque said.

The cost of the damages is estimated at $1 Million, $900,000 to the structure and $100,000 to the contents.

No injuries were reported.
