From brilliant outdoor signage displays to transforming million-dollar luxury vehicles into extraordinary automotive masterpieces to creating one-of-a-kind gallery reproductions with superb quality and breakthrough production speeds, Epson America continues to demonstrate its leadership in the professional imaging market with new solvent printing boundaries forged every day. According to InfoTrends data, Epson continued its momentum in the signage market by extending its share to an average of above 20 percent during the past three quarters. In addition, Epson’s recently introduced SureColor S-Series models have helped professionals across a range of signage, vehicle graphics and fine art printing markets vastly expand the limits of solvent printing.

“Since its entry into the solvent market with the Epson Stylus Pro GS6000, Epson has been committed to providing customers innovative technology that delivers leading quality, performance and reliability,” said Reed Hecht, product manager, Professional Imaging, Epson America.  “We’ve used everything we’ve learned about printer design over the past decade to engineer a series of solvent printers that enable today’s designers and printing establishments to bring their visions to life and flourish in today’s competitive marketplace in ways they never thought possible.”

As Epson’s latest solvent printing line-up, the SureColor S-Series leverages two revolutionary solvent-based ink technology breakthroughs to maximize the capabilities of the Epson Dual-Array MicroPiezo TFP print head and an all-new print engine to deliver previously unseen levels of quality, performance and value across a range of market segments:

•          Signage: Design Dynamics leverages the power of the SureColor S-Series to create building signage, banners, wall murals, mounted posters, point-of-sale displays, window films, and more.

“The performance of the S-Series has helped us increase our revenues by over 30 percent,” said Lorin Young, owner, Design Dynamics. “Due to the quality of our output at the fast speeds we are able to print at, we’ve been able to take on more business and increase our output, profitability and customer satisfaction.”

•          Fine Art: Marco Fine Arts creates fine art and photographic reproductions in its southern Calif.-based office with the SureColor S-Series, maintaining the integrity and consistency that are pre-requisites to museum standards of quality.

“The SureColor S-Series has fundamentally changed how we operate,” said Eric Howard, President, Marco Fine Arts. “These new printers deliver amazing print speed without sacrificing quality... I can’t ask for anything more.”

•          Vehicle Graphics: Dallas-based SkinzWraps is a full service vehicle wraps company that has been using the SureColor S-Series printers to transform cars, vehicles and fleets into moving billboards for businesses.

“The black-and-white quality we are seeing from the S-Series is unlike anything we have ever seen before in vehicle wraps, and is allowing us to do things in design we never thought possible,” said Kelly Coats, production manager, SkinzWraps. “From 18 wheelers printed in a little over a day on the S70670 to 6,000 square feet walls, we are confident the S-Series will help us get any job well done.”
