Canon IR2500 Series

Jason, I didn't see that dealer communication.  Either way, the iR 25xx series wasn't the best one out there in my mind.  We try to steer customers to the iR 42xx series or to the A4 BW units.  We've had mixed bag results with these units.  The good majority of them in the field have (knock on wood) been running well, just expensive.  There have been a handful that have been troublesome, with one in particular being replaced in the field.  But you're right, these units despite reputation have been very good priced bid spec units.  It'll be interesting to see what if anything Canon releases as a replacement.

I deleted the notification and can't seem to find it now. I searched back through and didn't see it, but like you I try to put everyone in the 42xx seriesas we have had great sucess in those.

Same question, have the remaining models (ir 2525 & 2530) been discontinued?

If so, when and what is going to replace these?

I don't believe they have as they are still on the price list. I haven't seen a notification that they are gone yet.
