I got notice Canon will be discontinuing the Ir2535, 2535i, 2545, and 2545i. They will keep the IR2525 and 2530. I believe these machines have been good for bids as the price point is low but to me they look like machines that are already 5 or 6 years old when they come out of the box. The couple that we sold have been a mixed bag, some hated them, others have had no trouble. Does anyone have any feedback on thier machines in the field? I am curious as to how long Canon will keep these around with have the IR Advanced platform for all segments now.

Jason, I didn't see that dealer communication. Either way, the iR 25xx series wasn't the best one out there in my mind. We try to steer customers to the iR 42xx series or to the A4 BW units. We've had mixed bag results with these units. The good majority of them in the field have (knock on wood) been running well, just expensive. There have been a handful that have been troublesome, with one in particular being replaced in the field. But you're right, these units despite reputation have been very good priced bid spec units. It'll be interesting to see what if anything Canon releases as a replacement.
Hey Gang,
Same question, have the remaining models (ir 2525 & 2530) been discontinued?
If so, when and what is going to replace these?
Thanks,
Jake
Thanks, Jason.
