The Cherokee County Board of Education, during its Thursday, June 26 meeting, accepted a bid on a 3D printer, stand and cleaning station for $39,350 from Technical Training Aids, Inc.

Brett Keasler, principal, Cherokee County Career and Technology Center, explained that the funding for the printer is made possible by grant funds CCCTC recently received for enhancement of its engineering and auto CAD drafting lab.

“The Three D printer will allow students to design objects in 2D and 3D version and then they can create by using a software program called 3D rendering,” explained Keasler. read more here
