Got it, replied with "what's on your mind, is there something we haven't answered?", "Naw, I don't sign anything on the spot, get back to me this Friday". K, thanked the DM for the time and the opportunity.
Called on Friday, "sorry DM So&So is not in the office. Called Monday, "Sorry, DM So&So is on the phone. Called Tuesday, "DM So& So is in a meeting. My Mom once told me it only takes ten seconds and a dime to make call. Here's the ten cents.
That call would put my Mom at ease as to where I was and when I'll be home. All I ask is the courtesy of a return call. I'm a big boy, if you don't want what I'm offering, I'm ok with that.
