Is anyone still using BZ for leads? I have cut it way down as the leads are pretty much trash. For a long time we were way ahead of our cost of using it but the last 6 months it has been the other way around. The leads are trash and they don't credit hardly anything anymore when you do a credit request.

We use and have about 40% close rate, but I see our share of crap leads and mostly price based. Example just got one last week customer replacing an ink jet runs 10K month and wants to only spend $700-$1,000 on replacement device.

I had the same thing and course they want 11 x 17 and a stapler. We use to be in the same area of about 30-40% close rate but it has gone way down. Of course, though, after I posted this we have closed 2 this week that were fairly profitable deals. I'm still thinking of doing other things and pulling the plug but haven't done so yet.

We are buying about 35 a month and don't have amazing luck, but they are still decent.  I think last month we bought like 20 and got 3 deals from it, so it wasn't amazing, but was a nice way to let a new rep cut their teeth on some leads.  More of our good leads come from our SEO efforts (which we help other dealers do the same things) - but yeah, we still do BZ.  There is a weird subtle art we have learned on how to handle them which doesn't make them total trash.
