Contex announces that TAVCO Services Inc. is experiencing a surge in the sale of Contex wide-format scanners by customers in the oil and gas industry. Texas-based TAVCO, a provider of sales, service and support of large-format scanners and plotters, attributes the increase in sales to a greater number of customers with compliance requirements when scanning various documents such as aerial photos and well logs measuring 40-feet and longer. Recently, TAVCO reported the sale of six Contex IQ Quattro 44-inch scanners to an energy-based company located in Houston. Password-protected logins, accuracy of scans, and MFP-integration, prompted the replacement of the customer’s all-in-one MFPs with the Contex scanners.
